This is just another relatively pretty looking, affordable piece of crap from a country that shall remain nameless.
Like many reviewers (from similar products from the same maker) mentioned, the glass pieces do not align, and just don't stay in place. Too light - very easily knocked off in the dark. And the glasses are not tampered.
The deal breaker is that the lamp uses the worst capacitor possible in the touch circuit. A tiny little surge would toast it. Thus, when the original light bulb is dead - which last merely 18 days in my case - good luck in making the touch circuit working again. Some reviewers mentioned replacement light bulbs won't work. It's NOT the light bulb. The touch circuit is supposed to make any ordinary type B light bulb to become 3 way. Doesn't even matter what wattage (although the lamp says use 60w lightbulb max)
It's the cheap capacitor inside the lamp. Even refurb stuff won't bomb out like this. And for cheap stuff light this, it makes no sense to risk fire hazard to repair the capacitor.
One of the very rare regret purchases I ever had in Amazon.com. I dumped this lamp into the garbage to prevent further brain cell damage due to my anger.

The lamp arrived well packaged and it is lovely. A lot easier to turn on and off being as it is a touch lamp. I also like the 3 different light settings. Great product for the price.

It is not the appearance of this lamp that concerns me. I am indifferent to the appearance, to be honest. The problem that I have with this lamp is that it is not very heavy, so you have to be careful around it, so that it does not get knocked over. The glass shade is somewhat thin and fragile, as well. Every time I went near it, I was afraid of tipping it over and breaking it.
