great looking black out curtains October 18, 2007 Melinda Schielack (Fayetteville, Texas United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought these for my son's room which is near a road and headlights shine through at night. They work great! His rooms stays really dark and he doesn't notice the headlights. These are a great buy!
Not "black out" shades, more like "Room darkening" July 17, 2007 Cortney B. (Hoboken, NJ USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My room gets early morning sun from 5am through the afternoon. I used to have to squint if I went in there on a sunny day despite having mini blinds, but with these shades it makes a big difference. I would recommend regular curtains over the tab-top variety if you don't have a lot of room between your window and ceiling. The tabs let light through mine since I had less than one foot between the ceiling and the top of my window. All that matters to me is that I can sleep through sunrise now and the shades themselves are good looking. I really like the beige color, and was plesantly surprised by the slight shine they have to them. In all, it's the best buy around for the money.
great curtains May 17, 2007 Angela S. Hanshaw (Summersville, WV) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
With having baseball season in full swing these are great to keep those lights from the fields out as well as the head lights.
